Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia – 8th September, 2024 – DWDM driver Kai Daryanani takes home victory after a dominant weekend, including his first career pole position, fastest lap, and another podium finish.
After a promising build up to the weekend, including a string of strong results in testing and P1 in free practice, Daryanani delivers in his Australian F4 debut with Evans GP. The Indian driver took pole position in Saturday’s second qualifying session, putting him at the front of Race 3.
In a dominant display, Daryanani led the race from start to finish, securing his second career victory. Daryanani also took the fastest lap of the race, with a 2:10.997, and crossed the line with almost 6 seconds to the car behind
Daryanani also impressed in the second race of the weekend, when he started in P5 and fought his way through the field to finish in P3. The young driver defended his podium position with all his might, fighting against attacking drivers and emerging victorious despite his tyres slowly giving out. In the end, Daryanani secured P3 with over 2.8 seconds gap to the car behind him.
An incredible weekend for the DWDM driver which showcases his racing prowess and adaptability between different championships, teams, and cars. Daryanani’s next big race takes place next weekend at the famous Red Bull Ring in Austria, where he will be racing with CRAM Motorsport in the Euro 4 Championship.
