DW Driver Kai Daryanani finishes the 2023 season from the Podium after securing P2 at Sepang Circuit in the final race of the SEA F4.
Sepang, Malaysia – 4 December, 2023 – In a thrilling conclusion to the South-East Asia F4 Championship, 18-year-old racing sensation Kai Daryanani, driving for Pinnacle Motorsport, showcased his exceptional skill and determination in the fourth and final round of the championship.
In Qualifying 1 and Qualifying 2, Kai put in an impressive performance, securing P6 in both sessions and laying the foundation for a spectacular weekend. His standout moment came during the weekend's best lap, clocking in at a 2:08.3 around the Sepang International Circuit.
The intensity heightened in Race 1, where Kai battled fiercely to secure a well-deserved P5. Race 2 saw him fight his way to P3 before an unfortunate incident forced him to retire the car, showcasing the unpredictable nature of motorsport.
However, Kai's resilience shone through in the final race of the season, Race 3, where changing weather conditions added an extra layer of complexity. With a mixed tyre strategy and overcoming the challenges posed by the rain, Kai delivered a stellar performance, securing an outstanding P2 and finishing the season from the podium.
