DW driver Kai Daryanani clinches his maiden motorsports victory during an eventful
weekend at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit.

Kent, United Kingdom – 12 September, 2023 – DW Driver Management is thrilled to announce the remarkable victory of their young prodigy, Kai Daryanani, at the iconic Brands Hatch circuit during Round 9 of the GB4 Championship. The 18-year-old Hong Kong-based Indian racing driver raced to glory with the Evans GP team in a spectacular showcase of skill and determination.

Kai Daryanani's victory at Brands Hatch on Sunday, 10 September, marks a pivotal moment in his racing career. In a field of fierce competition, Kai exhibited an exceptional display of driving prowess, maintaining pole position from start to finish.

Brands Hatch, with its rich history and challenging layout, proved to be the ultimate test for young Daryanani. Undeterred by the pressure, Kai started from pole position and made an excellent start, fending off his fellow front-row starter. With a safety car coming out due to contact further back in the pack, Kai showcased an innate understanding of racecraft and unmatched composure as he executed a perfect race restart.

Daryanani showed an impressive first victory in motorsports, starting on pole and finishing on the top step of the podium. Throughout the race, Kai was able to edge away from the pack before taking the chequered flag an impressive three seconds clear of second place.

Winner, Kai Daryanani, Evans GP: "My first race win in motorsports history for me. Every lap I was trying to get it over, I was trying to get it home. I saw the gap and I monitored it. As I came over the final lap, I didn't know what to say - I’m speechless to be honest. My Dad’s here, and I’ve got my coach, it’s really emotional today.”

"I had an incident in Race 2 and the car was badly damaged but the team put it together so well and for that I’m so proud of them and so grateful that they were able to put it together, a great race, great result."

Kai will be next in action at Monza this weekend, September 15-17, for his European debut in the Euro4 Championship with the CRAM Motorsport team. Kai will be engineered by race and championship-winning engineer Josh Evans, while DW Coach Mark Johnston will also be in action to continue Kai's driver development program.
