12 May 2023 – Hong Kong-based British racing driver Dan Wells and his co-driver Oscar Lee clinched two sensational class victories including a first overall victory in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia race held at the Sepang Circuit last weekend. The duo expertly navigated the 5.54km track and emerged victorious in a hard-fought battle against a strong field of competitors.

Wells, who hails from Salisbury in England, and Lee, from Taiwan, displayed their exceptional teamwork and driving skills during the race, which saw them unleash the raw power of their Lamborghini race car and showcase their ability to push the vehicle to its limits.

The victory was a remarkable achievement for the young duo, who had to contend with challenging weather conditions at the unforgiving circuit. Wells and Lee kept their cool and expertly steered their way to the front of the pack, finishing ahead of their closest competitors by an impressive margin throughout the weekend.

Wells took overall and Pro-Am pole in Q1, while Oscar backed up his step forward with a P3 overall and Pro-Am pole in Q2.

In race one, Wells led the field away on a safety car start due to heavy rain and led his entire stint on slick tyres before handing the car to Oscar who brought the car home 4th overall and 1st in class.

In race two, Oscar had a slightly trickier start to his race, but managed to get his head down to hand the car to Dan in a good position, where he duly went on to overtake the competition and win the race overall.

Speaking after the race, Wells and Lee expressed their delight at their success, thanking their team and sponsors Prosperity Investment Management for their support and dedication. The pair also praised the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia series and organisers TopSpeed for giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent on a global stage.
