Dan first impressed me whilst I was coaching rival drivers in the 2011 Formula Renault series and 2012 Formula PilotaChina Series. He has always managed to impress on a limited budget, so when I got the opportunity to work with him at Macau in 2013 I jumped at the chance in order to see what we could do together. I can honestly say that Dan is one of the most hard-working and talented drivers that I have worked with, both on and off the track. He’s very professional in his approach and always listens in order to correct if he needs to.

In Macau especially, very few drivers are able to do this, but with Dan, he did this on his first lap back out on track. This sort of dedication and commitment is very rare and I have no doubt that Dan will become a very successful driver in the future.
